With a membership in the Gator Family Giving Council (GFGC), your family will become even more connected than you thought possible with the Gator Nation and your student’s college education. Your input and impact in the areas that you connect with most will help move UF forward at the highest level as a Top Public University. With an annual commitment of a minimum of $5000 to the Division of Student Life or area of choice, GFGC members will serve in the following ways:
- Participate in college events and development-sponsored programs to gain greater awareness of the university
- Provide philanthropic support with a significant commitment commensurate with your financial means to any area at the University of Florida during your student’s time on campus
- Serve as ambassadors for the University of Florida
- Leverage personal and professional networks of influence to help facilitate new and strategic relationships for UF, especially where alignment of mission and funding goals exist
- Attend at least one scheduled council meeting per year (meetings occur biannually)
- Host, volunteer, and advocate on behalf of the university at public events and engagements when appropriate
