Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience

The Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience is a research center for biomedical research and biotechnology, dedicated to studying marine life and applying that knowledge to human health, natural resources and the environment. Backed by nine faculty-led research laboratories and more than 70 researchers and staff, the laboratory’s mission is to train future experimental biologists through its graduate, postdoctoral and summer National Science Foundation-sponsored undergraduate internship programs.
