Gators have made almost 51,000 gifts since the first Stand Up & Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day four years ago.
Last year, in just 24 hours, the Gator Nation made over 22,000 gifts on Giving Day. Every “bit” was put to good use to keep UF and its far-reaching work going strong.
In the past three years, over 1,500 gifts were directed to MFOS to support first-gen students. Over 500 gifts were made to MFOS last year.
UFAA Gator Clubs and Affiliate Groups showed up in a big way – almost 3,000 gifts were made to support their scholarships this past year.
Nearly 250 gifts were made to the Aid-A-Gator: Student Support Fund. Aid-A-Gator offers support to students experiencing a financial hardship.
Over 2,000 went to support the Children’s Miracle Network this past Giving Day. CMN hospitals provide treatment to 32 million children a year.
Over $100,000 raised for the UF Health Children’s Miracle Network since the inception of Stand Up and Holler: Gator Nation Giving Day.
Last year, UF Alumni Association Gator Clubs and Affiliate Groups raised over $91,000 for scholarships.
Over $100,000 raised to support student activities and programming — from Rec Sports to the Counseling and Wellness Center.

Since that first Gator Nation Giving, Gators have made almost 51,000 gifts, many of them for just $1 to $5. But amazing things happen when we pull together at UF! Thanks to those gifts, Gators have provided 21 full scholarships for first-generation students. And that’s just one example of all of the good that comes out of Giving Day.
Gator Nation Giving Day, like the University of Florida, grows more successful each year. From that first celebration in 2019 to last year’s all-virtual event, we keep shattering records for single-day giving.
UF’s growing stature – from No. 8 in public universities that first year to the Top 5 in 2022 – can be directly linked to Giving Day. That’s because not only do gifts support all of the good work done at UF, but alumni who give help move UF’s alumni participation rate, an important metric in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings.
When you give to the area you care about the most, you keep UF Top 5 strong.

Your gift, joined with thousands of others that day, will lift UF and all of its far-reaching and life-changing work.
