Graphic Elements
These patterns and shapes provide additional texture, layers and visual interest to our designs. They reflect the core principles of the brand: energy, growth, endless pursuit, and a thirst for knowledge.
Rays
Sunshine is a primary attraction for our state and it’s rays serve as a key component of the Advancement brand. Rays can also be used with or without text to signify energy and motion.
Rays Gradient
The Rays gradient pattern captures the feeling of optimism, energy, growth and impact. It can be used as a color field with text or as a overlay on photos.
Rise
The 15° angles are derived from the Go Greater campaign and signify UF’s efforts to RISE to a top-5 position among national public universities. They convey progress, forward movement.
Shapes
Parallelograms and circles can be used to contain images or as overlays to add depth or add emphasis.
Textures
Represents the hard work, gritty effort needed to achieve our goals. Feels organic, hand-crafted. A background element, not highlighted feature.
Halftone Dots
Established during the Gator Good campaign, halftone dots add interest and excitement. Can be used with color blocks as well as images.
