Faculty
The University of Florida has a goal to establish 200 new faculty endowments during the Go Greatercampaign. Such endowments are crucial to the life of UF. The men and women teaching and conducting research are the heart of higher education; they have devoted their careers to enhancing knowledge, shepherding discoveries and serving communities — all for the betterment of humankind.
Likewise, the people who support those endeavors — philanthropists whose gifts enrich the learning experience and make exploration into the unknown possible — share that nobility. By endowing faculty positions, donors create streams of funding to enable faculty to discover and invent what we can only now imagine, while helping prepare future generations for the challenges of their own lives and times.
