Facilities

From its modest beginnings as a land-grant university with 102 students, the University of Florida has grown into a flourishing international institution of higher education. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive universities, and the site of endeavors ranging from cutting-edge genetics research, to championship athletics programs, to the synthesis of culture and technology. To continue moving forward — to go greater — UF needs classrooms, labs and other spaces that nourish enlightenment, learning and discovery.

It’s the generosity, the care, the foresight, the kindness and the selflessness of UF’s philanthropists who invest in infrastructure that allow the University of Florida to be part of people’s lives — from first breath to last, and for whatever life deals them in between.
