McKnight Brain Institute

Faculty from 51 UF academic departments and 10 colleges make up the Evelyn F. and William L. McKnight Brain Institute, one of the nation’s most comprehensive and technologically advanced centers devoted to understanding and treating conditions affecting the brain and nervous system. Physicians and scientists work to understand how the normal brain operates and to develop methods to repair the brain following injury, disease or aging in diseases like Alzheimer’s, epilepsy and Parkinson’s.
