Fund Purpose
The spendable income of the Fund shall be used to support a Professorship restricted to the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Department of Chemistry. The recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. Fund Purpose Contingency: If the Gift, once realized, does not meet the then-current minimum amount required to establish a named professorship, the spendable income will support a named faculty endowment at the level of the Gift. However, if at any time in the future the Fund reaches the then-minimum amount required for a chair, the Fund's name and purpose will be modified to the appropriate level chair within the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Department of Chemistry.
