Dr. Thomas Rowe’s retirement in 2024 commemorates an incredible era of mentorship, generosity, and collegiality in the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics, the Biomedical Sciences graduate program, and the University of Florida at large. For those who had the privilege of working with Dr. Rowe—as a mentor, educator, colleague, or supporter—you know he embodied a rare and enduring spirit of collegiality. He gave generously of his time, supported students unconditionally, and always prioritized the success of others ahead of his own. To celebrate Dr. Rowe, we are launching the T. Rowe Collegiality Award, recognizing members of the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics who go above and beyond to support their scientific and academic communities.
