Anna M. McDaniel Nursing Faculty Innovation Award

Fund Purpose
The spendable income from the Fund shall be used to provide support for a faculty member (or group) in developing or promoting an innovative idea or product that advances the college in one or more of its missions. The uses of the award may include a mini sabbatical, salary support or expenses of learning and applying an innovation in a research, academic or clinical setting. Recipient(s) will be selected by a faculty committee as determined by the dean. Each applicant must submit a brief prospectus outlining a plan and its intended impact on the college. Examples of innovations may include; educational/curricular interventions, research, programmatic changes, a product/device/application, a detailed quality improvement process, a new collaboration or community partnership, an innovative methodology, a clinical or practice change.
