Florida Foundation Seed Producers (FFSP) Plant Breeding Professorship
Fund Purpose
GA: support a Professorship in UF/IFAS that will in turn support the peanut breeding program. The recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. Should the need for a professorship in peanut breeding decline in the future, as determined by the Donor and the Vice President, Agriculture and Natural Resources, UF/IFAS, then the spendable income of the Fund may be used to support a professorship in plant breeding. At that time, the name of the Fund may be changed to reflect the crop or commodity of such plant breeding program.
