Fund Purpose
GA: support for the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program to students in the College of Education, with a preference for students who graduated from Merritt Island High School. If no such students are eligible, the scholarship may be awarded to any eligible MFOS in the College. If the FOS program ceases to exist at UF, then the income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation students from low income families who graduated from Merritt Island High School.
