John G. Harris Faculty Excellence Fund

This award will help advance research and programmatic areas of strategic importance and will create a legacy that is reflective of Dr. Harris’ distinguished career and strong set of personal values which are the qualities that define a Gator Engineer. Assistant and associate professors in ECE will be eligible for the Harris Faculty Excellence Award. It will enhance the recruitment and retention of the department’s premier junior faculty, while bringing prestige and honor to the awardee. The funds will provide an additional and flexible source of research funding for the faculty member. Pre-endowment.
