Leslie Pendleton MFOS Director’s Fund

Dr. Leslie Pendleton is the Founding Director of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program and served from 2009-2022 as the director. This fund was created and named in her honor because of her unwavering commitment to ensure the success of every Machen Scholar. Beyond MFOS, Leslie was instrumental in institutionalizing the need for first-generation college student support across campus.

This fund specifically supports the programmatic needs of the Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program. It is a discretionary fund for the current Director to use in support of program needs to further the success of each Machen scholar.
