Robert and Jill Peterson Professorship

Fund Purpose
GA: support a professorship in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to be held by a scholar who will enhance the Department's visibility and reputation. First preference shall be given to someone who has a demonstrated record of sustained excellence in research as evidenced by high impact publications, significant competitive research funding, and international recognition as a research leader, and second preference shall be given to someone committed to advancing student diversity through support of registered student organizations. The recipient shall be selected and appointed in accordance with University policies and hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements.
