Fund Purpose
The Dembling Endowment shall be used exclusively to support The Dembling Fund for Drug Discovery and Human Health Research, an endowed fund for a scientist working in the areas of pain medication, novel therapies for major depressive disorder or other neuropsychiatric disorders established in honor of Paul Dembling and his daughter Donna Dembling.The initial beneficiary of The Dembling Fund for Drug Discovery and Human Health will be Dr. Laura Bohn. Once the donor gifts a total of $3M, the Dembling Endowment will be used to fund the salary and other research expenses of The Dembling Chair for Drug Discovery and Human Health Research, an endowed professorial chair which will be established at that time.
