Contrasena Graduate Fund

Support an annual award for a graduate student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese studies to be used toward experiential learning opportunities, with a preference toward students pursuing a career in teaching related to the languages, literature, and cultures of the areas and countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken. The Fund shall be awarded at the discretion of the Department Chair of Spanish and Portuguese studies. If, in a particular year, there are no qualified recipients, the Board of Directors of the Foundation shall reserve any funds intended for distribution for use in subsequent years.
