Florida Environmental Education Endowment

Supports the UF/IFAS School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (SFFGS) Extension state-wide programs, as determined by the Director of SFFGS, that (1) build capacity to engage and act to help resolve environmental issues, such as CIVIC (Community Voices, Informed Choices) and CAPE (Community Action Projects for the Environment), or that (2) support teacher professional development programs with instructional materials such as Project Learning Tree and Project WET (Water Education Today). Use of the spendable income may include the hiring of students and staff for these programs. If such programs no longer exist, then the spendable income may be used to support programs that recruit people from urban areas to SFFGS degree programs.
