Gerald W. and Phyllis J. Isaacs Scholarship Endowment

Fund Purpose
Supports scholarships for undergraduate students specializing in Biological Engineering or Agricultural Operations Management in the College's Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.

The spendable income from the Fund shall be used to support scholarships for undergraduate students specializing in Biological Engineering or Agricultural Operations Management in the College’s Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.

This endowment is established in memory of Phyllis J. Isaacs, who was a loving wife to Gerald W. Isaacs for 72 years and a devoted mother to her six children. A strong supporter of her husband’s academic career (which included 17 years as Department Head at Purdue University and 10 years as Agricultural and Biological Engineering Department Chairman at the University of Florida), Phyllis maintained an open home, welcoming all visitors. She was always ready for company, graciously entertaining family as well as friends, faculty and students from the U.S. and around the world.
