Gloria Merriex Endowed Chair for Culturally Responsive Mathematics

Support an endowed chair in the College’s Lastinger Center who will focus on culturally responsive mathematics education. The recipient shall hold the rank required for the position by the University, and expenditures shall comply with University and Foundation requirements. Additional donors will contribute to the Fund. After 5 years, if total gifts to the Fund are less than the endowed chair minimum of $2,000,000, then the Fund’s name and purpose will be modified to reflect that the endowed faculty position will be a Professorship, Assistant Professorship, or Term Professorship, depending on the total contributed.
