Dorothy Moore Pasco Co. Master Gardener Memorial Fund
Supports Pasco County Master Gardener Volunteer participation in continuing education and development opportunities such as conferences and seminars. Funds may be used to support travel, registration fees and other affiliated expenses. Should the fund each endowment level, it will be closed and the funds deposited to an endowment, which will be named "Dorothy Moore Pasco Co. Master Gardener Memorial Endowment" and retain the same purpose.
This fund honors Dorothy Moore, a dedicated UF/IFAS Extension Pasco Master Gardener Volunteer, having earned the prestigious “President’s Volunteer Service Award” from the Corporation for National and Community Service under the Points of Light Foundation. Dorothy contributed thousands of hours toward community outreach and education especially focused on native butterfly conservation and protection. This fund provides support for her fellow Pasco County Master Gardeners to continue their education, and enabling them to better their communities in the same ways as Dorothy.
