Fund Purpose
The spendable income from the Fund shall be used for scholarships to students studying in the College in natural science, social science, or mathematics. The University recognizes the Donors' strong and abiding commitment to increasing the diversity of the student body to enrich the collegiate experience for all participants. Accordingly, the College agrees in choosing the scholarship recipients to consider the following factors: demonstrated commitment to making meaningful contributions to a pluralistic community and a diverse student body, sensitivity to and understanding of racial and ethnic issues in society; commitment to learning to better communicate across the social lines of culture, gender, race, generation, geography, and class; ability to overcome educational, social, and other disadvantages, and leadership potential.
