Fund Purpose
GA: support Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) at the University, with a preference for students who are in the Honors College. If the MFOS program cases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students with low family incomes, with a preference for students in the Honors College.

The Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars (MFOS) Program is UF’s flagship First-Generation need-based scholarship. The spendable income of this fund shall be used to support MFOS students at UF, with a preference for students who are in the Honors Program.
