Greg Wolfe Brain Tumor Research Fund
Support the brain tumor program.
Greg was in the prime of his life when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme Grade 4 Brain Cancer. He was the epitome of health: avid runner, beach volleyball player and worked out religiously. February 1, 2017 changed all that. Greg went to the ER with stroke like symptoms only to discover he had a golf ball size brain tumor.
Glioblastoma often referred to as GBM is an aggressive brain cancer that is highly infiltrative and has a propensity to recur even after surgical removal. There is no cure for GBM, although there are treatments. Our hope is that The Greg Wolfe Brain Tumor Research Fund will assist Greg’s brilliant physicians at the UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital, along with the amazing research teams at the McKnight Brain Institute and the Preston A. Wells Center for Brain Tumor Therapy, with their research to find a cure and improved therapies for this horrific disease.
