Innovative Patient Care Fund
Support research, education and activities related to patient care.
Over the next 15 years, it is estimated that more than 150 million people will be suffering from chronic pain or other conditions that demand mediation; resulting in a huge strain on primary care physicians. The UF College of Pharmacy is committed to developing innovative answers for this serious problem. Working with our colleagues at UF Health, we’re exploring new models of chronic disease management where pharmacists and doctors team up to close a potential gap, and ensure patients have access to care.
A gift to the Innovative Patient Care Fund will help pharmacists play an expanded, more vital role in the healthcare system, which will increase quality, reduce costs and, most importantly, improve lives.
