Barbara Jean Raskin, CPA Master’s in Accounting Scholarship

Fund Purpose
Support for need-based scholarships to students enrolled in the Master of Accounting program in the college's Fisher School of Accounting. In addition to initially qualifying based on need, the annual award shall be made to a student on the basis of an essay discussing the student's demonstrated commitment to promoting the advancement of women in the accounting profession. Each student applying for the scholarship shall have attended the Fisher School of Accounting's Women in Accounting Symposium should such an event exist the year the award is given. The Fund shall be used to make five or fewer awards each year, each in an amount commensurate with the range of other awards given by the Fisher School of Accounting. For so long as the Donor is making lifetime gifts to the Fund, she shall have the right to review essays, meet qualified recipients, and recommend award recipients to the school.
