Fund Purpose
GA: support the maintenance and enhancement of the learning center at the Austin Cary Forest. For the first two years after the gift is made, a portion of the spendable income shall be used to enhance the sawmill educational site that is currently at the Austin Cary Forest. The spendable income may also be used to support teaching and educational initiatives at the Austin Cary Forest, such as forest student worker stipends, educational day camps for K-12 students, and other initiatives that educate University students, faculty, and the community about the importance of working forests. The spendable income may also be used to support research and extension activities occurring at the Austin Cary Forest.
