John and Iris Beidler Scholarship
Fund Purpose
GA: support undergraduate and graduate scholarships and fellowships to students majoring in Entomology at the University, with priority given to students studying at the Florida Medical Entomology Laboratory.

John, who served nearly five decades in mosquito control, and his wife, Iris, who devoted many years to teaching elementary students, shared a strong commitment to education. In support of this, and in honor of their parents’ many extraordinary achievements, the Beidler children and grandchildren established this scholarship.
