John Jackson Citrus 4-H Scholarship Endowment
Fund Purpose
Supports an annual scholarship to a 4-H member of District VIII who has completed at least one year of the Citrus project and plans to enroll in an accredited college. The recipient will be selected by the District VIII Citrus Project Committee according to its established criteria and procedures. The award will be announced at the District VIII Citrus Tree Auction.

This scholarship honors John L. Jackson who served the citrus industry for more than 40 years as a UF/IFAS Extension Agent in Lake County. He was instrumental in the creation of the Central Florida 4-H Citrus Project that has engaged thousands of students in agriculture and the citrus industry.
