Fund Purpose
The spendable income of the Fund shall be used for the following purposes by the Division of Hematology: to pay expenses of a visiting lecturer on topics in the field of non-malignant hematology, including but not limited to (TTP), thrombotic microangiopathy, and other high priority topics; to pay for the travel expenses of faculty and its mid-level providers to attend conferences, meetings, or training to expand their expertise or knowledge in non-malignant hematologic diseases including transportation expenses, lodging, registrations, mileage, and other travel-related expenses; and annual society membership, journal renewal, subscriptions, or other expenses related to literature, on non-malignant hematology.
