Integra LifeSciences Term Professorship

The Tim Brahm Term Professorship in Biomedical Engineering in Biomedical Engineering allows the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering Department to retain and recruit faculty members focused on new discoveries and collaborations in regenerative medicine at UF, while forging new industry partnerships to advance patient outcomes and mutually beneficial growth for BioD and UF.

The uniqueness and success of this professorship is on identifying, focusing on and solving problems in Cell Engineering and Regenerative Medicine from an engineering perspective and on pro-actively engaging clinicians and biomedical partners in this process. Ultimately, this success will be measured by the impact that these new technologies and discoveries have on patients’ lives and on the education of the next generation of multidisciplinary engineers
