Robert W. Adenbaum Professorship in Engineering Innovation
GA: Support a faculty member in the College for a three year term. Recipients shall receive the support according to the guidelines established to encourage/reward innovative faculty on a rotating basis in three year term increments. Professor will have been successful in the innovation arena; these funds allow him/her to continue his/her endeavors, serve as a mentor, raise the stature & visibility of engineering innovation at the University. The Leo Claire & Robert Adenbaum Foundation established the Robert W. Adenbaum Professorship in Engineering Innovation in 2015. This gift bolsters the efforts of the Engineering Innovation Institute on top of supporting the vital role the college plays in the larger ecosystem of innovation in the state of Florida.
Dr. Daniel Ferris holds the Robert W. Adenbaum Professor. Dr. Ferris’ research focuses on the neural control of human locomotion.
