Fund Purpose
The spendable income from the Fund shall be used to support the Bernie and Chris Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program. Preference shall be given to students from Highlands or Santa Rosa County, Florida. If the program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students with low family incomes.
