Fund Purpose
The spendable income from the Fund shall be used to support students in the Bernie and Chris Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program, with preference to students from Dade County. If the program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students with low-income families.
