Kenneth Kroger Memorial Scholarship
Support scholarship awards for graduate students of the School of Architecture; annual award of $1,000.
Family and friends created this scholarship honoring Kenneth P. Kroger to provide scholarships for students in the School of Architecture. Ken earned his bachelor’s degree in design from the University of Florida in 1976 and his master of arts in architecture in 1978. He passed away in 2013. After graduation, he moved to the Tampa and started Architectural Designs. Ken was a member of the Tampa Connection Leadership Program, the Southern Building Code Congress, Chairman of Ybor City Main Street Committee, City of Tampa Chairman and Board member of the Flood Board for 20 years and City of Tampa member of Unified Construction Trades Board. He dedicated many years to serving the schools of architecture at several state universities and had a genuine passion for helping to reestablish schools in Haiti.
