Kathy Pellegrino Memorial Fund

This fund was established by a group of donors in memory of Kathy Pellegrino to support a scholarship to a student majoring in Journalism who has an interest in diversity, mentoring and the First Amendment issues.

Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Communications from the University of Florida in 1977. She started working at the in 1978. In the mid 1990’s she received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University while continuing to work full time. After she received her law degree she attained a special position as the as the papers legal adviser and recruitment editor.
