Drs. Nicholas and Elayne Cassisi Otolaryngology Resident Fund
GA: Support residents in Otolaryngology within the College of Medicine. (See GA)
This fund was established in 2013 by a group of donors in honor of Dr. Nicholas Cassisi to support residents in otolaryngology within the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Nicholas earned a bachelor’s degree in pre-med in 1957 and a dental degree in 1961, both from Western Reserve University. He received a medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1965. After residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology and two years in the U.S. Army, Nicholas joined UF’s medical faculty in 1973.
