Fund Purpose
GA: Support basic research at the UF/IFAS Citrus Research and Education Center located at Lake Alfred, Florida. A board of five researchers elected by the faculty at the Center shall select the research projects. The election of this board should occur when the funds become available to the Center. Each grant shall last for three years with a possible extension of one additional year by a majority vote of the board. No successive grants shall be made to a grantee. If the board fails to award a grant in any particular year, that income shall either be available for future grants or be returned to the principal, in the discretion of the board. (See GA)
