Cathy Donnellan/ Albert E. and Birdie W. Einstein Fund, Inc./ William Merz Professorship

This fund was created after combining funds established by Cathy Donnellan and William Merz to support an endowed professorship for a faculty member in Neurosurgery working in Movement Disorders in the Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration within the College of Medicine.

Cathy earned a bachelor’s degree in 1980 from the UF’s College of Pharmacy. She worked at the Glades Apothecary Pharmacy until 1993.

William helped to create steel surgical tools for surgeons. He passed away in 1999.
