Paul and Heidi Brown Professorship in Industrial and Systems Engineering

This fund was established in 2013 by Paul and Heidi Brown to support a professorship in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Florida.

Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and system engineering from the University of Florida in 1984, and a master’s degree in business administration from Drexel University in 1989. He received the UF Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2013. Paul was the senior executive of International Paper, the world’s largest paper and packaging company.

Paul passed away in 2015.

Heidi earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and system engineering from the University of Florida in 1983. She began her career with General Electric shortly after graduation, where she held multiple positions until retirement.
