This fund was established in 2013 by Teresa and Terry Polistina in honor of daughter-in-law, Katie Rose to support research in pediatric cystic fibrosis at the University of Florida.
Teresa earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1985. She is actively involved with UF Health’s Streetlight, an adolescent and young adult support program for people living with cancer, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell, and other chronic and life-limiting illnesses.
Terry earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida in 1985 and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Miami.
