Florida Power and Light Endowed Florida Opportunity Scholarship in Leadership
Fund Purpose
The spendable income from the Fund shall be used to support students at the University in the Bernie and Chris Machen Florida Opportunity Scholars Program; preference should be given to students who are participating in a leadership role within the University such as a Student Government officer or some other organization or club leadership role. If the program ceases to exist at the University, then the spendable income shall be used to support scholarship awards to first generation Florida students with low family incomes.
