This fund was established by Louis C. Gapenski in 2013 to support a fellowship in the Department of Health Services Research, Management and Policy in the College of Public Health and Health Professions at the University of Florida.

Louis earned a master’s and a doctorate degree in business administration from the University of Florida in 1981 and 1987, respectively. He joined the UF faculty in 1988, and received the College of Public Health and Health Professions Teacher of the Year award 10 times before retiring in 200
