UF Health Jacksonville: Marcus E. Drewa and Frederica S. Drewa Chaplaincy Endowment

This fund was established by Shands Jacksonville Properties, Inc. in 2013 to support a full-time chaplain at University of Florida Health at Jacksonville.

Marcus was the president and CEO of Methodist Medical Center and Foundation in Jacksonville for 33 years. In 1999, Methodist merged with University Medical Center to form Shands Jacksonville.

With more than 5,000 faculty and staff, UF Health at Jacksonville is the largest UF campus outside of Gainesville. At 37 clinical sites throughout Northeast Florida, UF physicians tallied more than 600,000 outpatient visits and more than 34,000 inpatient admissions in 2010.
