This fund was established in 2013 by Harlan Harrell, Jr. to support ethics education in the University of Florida College of Engineering’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Harlan earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida in 1961 and a master’s degree in business administration from Florida State University in 1971. While at UF, he participated in the Men’s Glee Club. Harlan was the project manager at Rockwell International Corporation for over 30 years. Harlan also worked for Boeing, as an aircraft designer and manufacturer. He retired from Boeing in 2000.
Harlan and Carole are members of the Space Coast Gator Club. They have two children.
