James P. and Edythe P. Albritton established this fund in 2013 to support undergraduate scholarships in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with a preference given to students enrolled in the Air Force or other ROTC programs at the University.

James earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1952 from UF. He is the owner of Triple-A Farm in Alachua, FL, which produces grains for livestock. James retired as brigadier general in the U.S. Air Force in 1980. James also worked for the McDonnell Douglas Corp. in Princeton, NJ.
