Fund Purpose
GA: Support the recruitment and retention of master's and PhD students in the Dept. of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE). Applicants will be reviewed by the MAE Admissions Committee and Recruitment Committee together with the chair of the department.

This fund was established in 2012 by Diane C. Honig in memory of her husband Daniel A. Honig.
Daniel graduated from the University of Florida in 1957 with a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical Engineering suma cum laude. He graduated from the George Washington School of Law in 1975 cum laude.
