Wright Innovation Internships

This fund was established in 2012 by Julie Talenfeld to honor Dr. John Wright’s many contributions to the College of Journalism and Communications. The fund supports internships for students in the College of Journalism and Communications in locations away from home and campus.

Julie attended Boston University before graduating from the University of Florida in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting. While attending UF, she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority. In 2011, she was honored as a distinguished alumna by the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.

Julie is the president and founder of Boardroom Communications, Inc., a company that provides media coverage to the legal, real estate, banking, corporate, retail, education and non-profit sector
