Fund Purpose
GA: To establish an annual award to recognize outstanding achievement in political or investigative journalism, reporting or editorial work by leading American newspapers, journals, or periodicals and which award shall be publicly recognized. The award recognizes the work of the following cohorts with additional areas possibly planned for the future; Online News Organization small and large market; the National Association of Black Journalists; and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Awards under this fund may change in the future. The spendable income of the Fund may also be used to support programs and expenses concerning the award and its administration.

Lorraine passed away in 2008.
