This fund was established in 2012 by Daniel Dennison to support collaboration among P.K. Yonge, the College of Education and other partners to conduct educational research, creative innovative teaching models and enhance the academic mission of P.K. Yonge.
Daniel is an internationally recognized food industry leader with expertise in beverage development, food safety, obesity, bioterrorism in the agricultural and food sectors and reclaimed water. He is head of his own consulting company and serves as a liaison to the food industry at the University of Georgia Center for Food Safety to assist in developing projects that will be relative to the food industry. Prior to his appointment with the University of Georgia he held various positions at The Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, GA from 1978-2004. There he played a key leadership role in the development and introduction of many products, including Diet Coke and New Coke and the reintroduction of Coca-Cola Classic. He also led the development, integration and coordination of the company’s worldwide research and development function.
